FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the guest capacity?
Our chapel holds up to 25 seated guests comfortably.
Can we book a last minute elopement?
Yes! Based on availability and appointment only.
Do we need a marriage license?
If you want it to be legally binding, yes - you'll need a valid Florida marriage license whether you're a Florida resident or visiting from out of town. We also offer non-legally binding ceremonies that look and feel just as special. Think: full shotgun-style Vegas fantasy without the paperwork. (same rates apply)
Who can apply for a marriage license and where do we get one?
You must be at least 18 years old.
Both parties must apply in person together.
You’ll need a valid government-issued photo ID
You do not need to be a Florida resident or U.S. citizen.
Marriage licenses are issued by Florida county clerks of court. You can apply at any county courthouse in Florida and the license can be used statewide.
Florida Residents: There is a 3-day waiting period to obtain your license. Non-Residents: No waiting period - you can marry the same day you get your license!
Your marriage license is valid for 60 days from the date it's issued.
Do we need a witness to get married in Florida?
No. Florida does not require witnesses to be legally married.

What happens if we arrive too early or too late?
We run a tight ship to make magic happen. Please arrive at the exact time listed in your contract—not earlier, not later. If you’re more than 15 minutes late and we have another wedding after yours, we won’t be able to extend your time. No exceptions. We love a grand entrance, just not a late one!
Deposit required to book?
To reserve your date at The Little Rose Chapel, we require 50% of the balance up front. The remaining balance is due 90 days before your big day.
Note: your initial payment is non-refundable, but is transferable to a new date within one year—with at least 90 days’ notice. If you cancel within 90 days of your event, all payments will be forfeited.
Can we bring our own photographer?
Yes - there’s no fee to bring your own photographer. Don’t have one? We’ve got fabulous in-house packages too.
Can we decorate the chapel?
